सारा महाराष्ट्र पाण्यासाठी वणवण फिरतोय पण....
छत्रपतींच्या गडकोटांवर अजुन देखील पाणी उपलब्ध आहे.

एका पुस्तकात लिहिलंय रायगड किल्ल्यावरील सर्व पाण्याची टाकी आणि तलाव व्यवस्थित साफ करून पाण्याचे योग्य असे व्यवस्थापन केले तर आजूबाजूच्या १०० गावांना बाराही महिने मुबलक पाणीपुरवठा करता येईल.
असे जवळपास ३८५ किल्ले महाराष्ट्रात आहेत. ३८५ पैकी ७०% किल्ल्यांवर बाराही महिने पाणी असते अगदी भर उन्हाळ्यातदेखील. पण अपुऱ्या देखभालीमुळे तलाव अन् टाक्यांमध्ये गाळ आणि कचरा साचून दुर्गंधी पसरली आहे.

३५० वर्षांपूर्वी छत्रपती शिवरायांनी जे जाणले ते आज आपण साधे अमलात आणू शकत नाही.

SOME INTERESTING THING ABOUT DOODHSAGAR FALLS:-

DOODHSAGAR FALLS- The falls is in the border of Karnataka and Goa and the roads leading to it are maintained by the Goa Forest Department, and are closed in the rainy season. The roads are again opened from the month of October. At its base, there is a small pond. One can bath but in their own risk. There are also fishes in the pond and the water is very cold, even in the afternoon. The Waterfall is located inside the Bhagwan Mahavir Wild Life Sanctuary at Collem in South Goa along the western Ghats

This one is Marvelous waterfall in Wester Ghat area… here found many more Endemic Species of Snakes & Amphibians..
